Late Season in Iowa proves to be a great one!

Another year in Iowa proves to be a great one!  After drawing a governors tag we called our friends at Sugar Creek and they invited us up to hunt their new farm in Iowa which happens to be the farm that team members Steve and Micki Snow manage.  Now keep in mind Pat has known this farm for years prior to Sugar Creek owning it and knows the quality whitetails that live here.  We were both super excited just for the chance at a management buck on the farm.  Day 1 we saw ton's of deer and when I say tons, I mean tons!  Day 2 we saw lots of deer and some monster bucks, try a 190" typical...WOW is all I can say!  Day 3 we got it done as I dropped the hammer on this awesome 7 year old buck and finished up the evening doing a little more management by getting a doe!

What a beautiful lodge and place to stay, we were so excited!  Owner Don Berry and friend Jerry with some monster sheds they picked up in the spring!

Great job Nichole - looks alot like "Sparky" - the one I shot last year at Medicine Creek. Gotta love late season in Southern Iowa.
